Langley Models (Unpainted Kits) Information

About Us Most of the kits we produce are white metal, although some are made in vaccumed formed plastic, brass photo etched or resin.(using the materials best suited for the purpose) These kits are easy to put together with 2 part epoxy (or low melt solder), if applicable comprehensive instructions are enclosed with diagrams showing how the kits assemble. Painting is straightforward, assemble the kit undercoat with a good quality car (automotive) primer (ie Halfords) and then paint with top coat (ie Humbrol, Precision Paints, Revell, Railmatch etc).

Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "CHECKOUT"

We accept Visa, MasterCard or Eurocard ,Maestro, & Delta . We also accept cheques made payable to Langley Models. Orders are sent on clearance of your cheque. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship unless special arrangements have been made for a deposit against a special order. Shipping And Handling NB Due to problems with delivery to FRANCE we now require all parcels to be sent 'Signed For' and insured this costs £3.95 extra per order (you will be informed of this charge before dispatch)

RETURNS / CANCELLATIONS.
a. Goods properly delivered by the company will only be accepted for return or Credit subject to our prior consent. In the event of any need to return goods a returns authorisation number MUST be obtained from us (which needs to be clearly indicated upon a returns note)
b The Company will not be responsible for delays in processing or crediting returns which are not marked with our returns authorisation number, neither will the Company be under any liability whatsoever for any goods returned without prior consent.
c. Goods returned as not wanted or incorrectly ordered must be sent carriage paid; will be accepted only if returned within 30 days from invoice date, in original condition and packaging and will be credited subject up to a 20% handling charge (minimum charge £2)
d We reserve the right not to refund on items ordered specially on the purchasers behalf.

Delivery Schedule We will normally send by 1st class post your order to you in 3 business days providing it is in stock. Europe delivery is 4-5 days other International orders are generally received around 7 to 10 days.

under £25 is £2, over £25 is Post Included
Europe
under £10 Catalogues Only £1.45, between £10-20 is £2.95, between £20-45 is £3.95 over £45 is free.
France is subject to a Registered charge of £3.95 (to ensure deliveries arrive)
Outside Europe VAT is removed which gives a reduced postage rate of :-
USA & Canada (Zone 1)
under £10 (catalogues only) is £2.45, between £10-20 is £2.95, between £20-45 is £4.20 over £45 is free
Australia, New Zealand & Asia (Zone 2)
under £10 (catalogues only) is £2.70, between £10-20 is £3.70, between £20-45 is £4.90 over £45 is free

Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we can back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges Tax is included @ 17.5% in all products. If you are ordering outside of the European Union please be aware you will not be charged TAX as this has been deducted through the reduced postage costs that are applied to any orders outside the European Union.

Returns Policy RETURNS / CANCELLATIONS.
a. Goods properly delivered by the company can be refunded within 7 days upon request. These returns will be subject to cost of postage (postage cost for clarity is included in all our prices on the web site) The cost is calculated by weight and at Post Offices current tariff. The cost of return postage is at the customers expense.
